drainage

Standing water can be detrimental to your foundation and property, therefore having a proper drainage system is key to protecting any property.

BEFORE

to start we are soil conditioning the grass and busting up the vegetation so that we can build the swale with the lazer grading system.

after

the swale is completed. you can see after one large rainfall, all the water is able to run away instead of saturating this one area of the golf course.

What Is a Swale?

Drainage swales are shallow ditches that blend in with surrounding landscape design, facilitate water management, and encourage natural irrigation.

Swales take advantage of natural slopes in the land to direct water downward into all the soil as opposed to letting it pool above ground or waterlog a specific region.

the excavator, soil conditioner, and lazer grading system can be used in conjunction (job depending) to create swales to prevent standing water on your property.
